Dark Deception is a horror maze game that takes players into a frightening nightmare filled with mysterious characters and deadly creatures. You control a hero trapped in a strange world who must uncover the truth while searching for a way to escape. A mysterious woman offers guidance throughout the journey, but whether she can truly be trusted remains part of the story.
GAMEPLAY OF DARK DECEPTION: COLLECT SOUL SHARDS AND ESCAPE THE MAZES
The main objective in Dark Deception is to explore different labyrinths and collect all the soul shards hidden throughout each location. Once you have gathered the required shards, you must reach the escape portal while avoiding enemies and dangerous obstacles. Every level introduces a different environment and new threats, so you cannot rely on the same strategy throughout the entire game.
Survive the Hotel and the Killer Monkeys
The first level takes place inside a hotel occupied by red-eyed monkeys carrying machetes. These enemies patrol the corridors and can chase you through different areas, including the elevator. Your best chance of survival is to keep moving, collect the soul shards quickly, and reach the escape portal before the monkeys catch you.
Escape Agatha at the School
The second level moves the action to a school campus where Agatha becomes another major threat. She only pursues you after noticing your presence, giving you opportunities to escape by breaking her line of sight. Special items can also help you deal with her, while acceleration allows you to move faster and break through red barriers.
Survive the Mansion's Golden Observers
The third level takes place in a luxurious mansion protected by the Golden Observers. This area is considered particularly challenging because enemies are combined with dangerous traps. Teleportation helps you move through difficult areas, while telepathy allows you to read the minds of enemies and gain useful information.
