COLOR RUSH GAMEPLAY
You have to sync your character's jumps and color to falling platforms in Color Rush as they move along on their own, and you control when your player goes up. Easy? Try again! So it keeps all the elements fresh, the transitions are fast-paced, funny details happen in the game, and the levels are parkour-inspired.
Timing is everything on every stage, just like accuracy, not speed. You will be continually ahead of the opposition, making split-second judgments and doing flips correctly. Each level also features three extra objectives for even more incentive to hop in and refine your skills.
Things That Grab Your Attention
- Use the spacebar to synchronize your character's color with the ground for a particularly timed run.
- Fast Auto-Running Action: Your character moves quickly, requiring you to constantly stay alert.
- Different Jumps: For harder sections, you will need to use normal, long, and special jumps to get through.
- A Few Aimed At the goal: three goals each level to keep your challenge level high.
- Five Worlds: See five different worlds ranging from simple ones to visually complex and dynamic ones; the difficulty increases.
Winning at Color Rush
- Timing is crucial. You should always be prepared to jump and change colors quickly because failing to do so could cause your run to end.
- Concentrate on the road in front to guess jumps and color changes in the terrain over long distances.
- Play around to make the controls feel natural: A lot of the movement requires the spacebar and up arrow key clicked at very close timing, so practice pressing them simultaneously!
- Speed Up and Remain Calm: The pace quickens, but staying calm allows better judgment.
