Relaxing progression and satisfying upgrades come together in Hole Is Mine, an incremental adventure game focused on resource collection, strategic upgrades, and long-term growth.
Instead of fast action or competitive battles, the game revolves around building stronger systems, managing Mini’oh helpers, and optimizing each Incursion for bigger rewards.
GAMEPLAY: PURIFY THE HOLE AND GROW STRONGER
The core gameplay loop in Hole Is Mine centers around collecting resources and improving your ability to purify the mysterious Hole.
Players move around the environment, grab nearby objects, and throw them into the Hole to begin an Incursion. During these events, small helper units called Mini’ohs enter the Hole to mine resources and generate rewards.
Basic Controls
- W / A / S / D: Move
- Left Click: Grab and throw objects
- Throw bags into the Hole: Trigger an Incursion
Incursions Require Smart Timing
One of the most important mechanics in the game is deciding when to trigger an Incursion.
Starting too early often leads to weak rewards because your Mini’ohs are still underpowered. Stronger helpers dramatically improve mining speed and resource collection, making preparation more valuable than rushing constantly.
Practical Tips For Better Progression
- Avoid triggering Incursions too early
- Upgrade one primary Mini’oh first for faster scaling
- Follow a consistent collect → upgrade → Incursion loop
- Be patient during the slower early-game progression
- Focus on efficiency rather than rushing constantly
